Safe Deposit Boxes**
The Akron, Clarence and Clarence Center locations have Safe Deposit Boxes available for your use. They come in a variety of sizes. It is an inexpensive way to protect your valuable papers and possessions. Stop in and have the security of storing your valuables in a safe deposit box.
You can put a “stop payment” on a check you have issued if you do not want the check to be honored. You can also use this service if you have lost your check book(s) or any of your extra checks. The stop can be placed on a specific check, or on a series of checks. It can also be placed on a specific dollar amount, if you do not remember the check number.
The best way to place a stop payment is using the bank’s on-line banking service. Under the “Accounts” tab is a Check Stop function. You simply complete the requested information as fully as possible and click submit.
If you do not remember the check number a stop payment can also be placed on a specific dollar amount.
