Do you need to transfer funds?  If the recipient is a Bank of Akron customer you can transfer funds from your Bank of Akron checking , savings or money market account directly into their account at the bank.  All you need is their account number.  Great for the child in college who needs funds.  You can also set up future or recurring transfers.  Fast, simple and convenient!

A safe, quick, easy, and environmentally friendly way to view, save, and/or print your bank statement without waiting for it to arrive in the mail.  When you enroll in E-Statements you agree that you will retrieve your statements using on-line banking.   You will no longer recieve paper statements.  You also agree that your annual Privacy notice will be forwarded in an electronic format.

Are you going out of the country?  Having the local currency on hand can make the first couple days a lot easier. Let us know where you are going and how much you would like, and we will arrange to have it delivered to the branch of your choice. Still have foreign cash in your pocket when you get home? Just bring it in and we will convert it back to U.S. dollars for you.

The Akron, Clarence and Clarence Center locations have Safe Deposit Boxes available for your use. They come in a variety of sizes. It is an inexpensive way to protect your valuable papers and possessions.  Stop in and have the security of storing your valuables in a safe deposit box.

You can put a “stop” on a check you have issued if you do not want the check to be honored. You can also use this service if you have lost your check book or any of your extra checks. The stop can be placed on a specific check, or on a series of checks.  It can also be placed on a specific dollar amount, if you do not remember the check number.

The best way to place a stop payment is using the bank’s on-line banking service.   Under the “Accounts” tab is a Check Stop function. You simply complete the requested information as fully as possible and click submit.
