OFFICERS:
E. PETER FORRESTEL, II, PRESIDENT & CEO
Mr. Forrestel is the President of the Bank, and oversees the senior management team. He serves as the Chief Financial Officer and the Investment Officer. In addition, he has oversight responsibility for information technology and human resources.
Peter joined the bank in 1976, and previously served as Bookkeeper, Teller, Data Processing Manager, Auditor, Vice President, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President. His diverse experience gave him the solid understanding of how all aspects of operations interact and led to him being elected President of the Bank of Akron in 1994.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan. In addition, he is a graduate of the School for Bank Administration, with a degree in Community Bank Management.
Peter currently serves on the Board of Directors for Bank of Akron and served ten years as a member of the Board of the New York State Banking Department. He has served on the Board of Education for both the Akron Central School District and Erie 1 BOCES. He has been a Village of Akron trustee since 1997. Forrestel also serves as Director and past President of the Independent Bankers Association of New York State, and is a Past Group I Chairman for New York Bankers Association. Other community services include: Akron Lions Club, Akron-Newstead Rotary Club, Rails-to-Trails project coordinator, and Newstead Historical Society Trustee.
JON A. LITTLE, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Little has over 34 years of banking experience, having held Senior positions at Fleet Bank and Citizens Bank. As Senior Vice President, Mr. Little is responsible for managing sales and the daily operations of the bank’s offices. A native of Salamanca, he is a graduate of SUNY Alfred with a degree in Business Management. He also attended the Advanced Commercial Lending program at the University of Buffalo. He is a member of the Akron Newstead Rotary Club and has held various positions with several charitable organizations throughout his career.
ANTHONY J. DELMONTE, JR., SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER
Mr. Delmote has 19 years of banking experience, having previously held positions at M&T Bank. As Senior Vice President, Mr. Delmonte is responsible for managing loan operations and commercial, residential and consumer lending. A native of Buffalo, he is a graduate of University at Buffalo with a degree in Political Science and an MBA from Canisius College. He is Chairman of Corporate Gifts for Catholic Charities, a board member Transit Valley Country Club, and a previous member of the board for St. Mary’s High School.
