Akron, NY – Bank of Akron has elected Anthony J. Delmonte, Jr. to its Board of Directors. With over 20 years of financial industry experience, Delmonte is a Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for Bank of Akron. He has been with the bank for over 5 years.

7/29/15 - MULE PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT

Akron, NY – Bank of Akron is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen Mule to Vice President. Mule serves as Branch Manager and Security Officer for the bank and is responsible for retail lending, business development, daily branch management, and the physical security of all five locations. He has been with the bank over two years.

6/19/15 - JOHNSON HIRED AS COMPLIANCE & CRA OFFICER AND VICE PRESIDENT

Akron, NY – Bank of Akron is pleased to announce to name Richard Johnson as Compliance & CRA Officer, with the title of Vice President. He will be responsible for the bank's compliance programs, policies and procedures, as well as risk management. Johnson has over 22 years of experience in banking and finance, including regulatory compliance management, risk and portfolio management, operational risk management, and fraud loss mitigation.

2/24/15 - PACER PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER

Clarence, NY – Bank of Akron is pleased to announce the promotion of Tonia Pacer from Customer Service Representative to Assistant Branch Manager at their Clarence location. In her new position, Tonia will work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve branch goals and expectation including sales, customer service, employee development, operational success and compliance. Pacer has been with Bank of Akron since 2012.

1/9/15 - SMITH PROMOTED TO BSA OFFICER

Akron, NY – Bank of Akron President and CEO, E. Peter Forrestel, II, recently announced the promotion of Rebecca L. Smith, CCBCO, CBAP, to Bank Secrecy (BSA) Officer. In her new role, Smith will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act to ensure that each functional area of the Bank achieves and maintains compliance with all Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) laws and banking regulations.
